There are plenty of people out there who say they eat all the right things, yet still find it inexplicable how they are unable to shed those few extra pounds. While lamenting they've tried everything, you'll notice them take a huge swig of beer, soda, or milkshake. Upon questioning them, they'll admit it's the third or fourth of the day.
Don't get the wrong idea; it's definitely possible to diet successfully while still enjoying the occasional alcoholic beverage, soft drink, or other calorific drink of choice. But, many people are unaware what you drink can affect your weight almost as much as what you eat. Simply put, a bottle of wine or a huge bottle of soda daily will make you overweight. Now, some cut out all "unnecessary" drinks while dieting, and that works too, but don't feel like you have to.
While eating, why not elect for a glass of water rather than soda? To mix things up, add in a slice of lemon or lime, or try sparking water. And this isn't just to avoid an unhealthy drink. Drinking a glass of water can actually trick your body into thinking you're more full, which will encourage you to eat less!
